Biography

Armando Rodriguez, M.D., FAHA, FACP, leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused health care professionals with a dedication to medical excellence, at Conviva Care Center Kingspoint. He received board certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine and was re-certified in 2006. He completed the University of Alabama, Montgomery, Internal Medicine Residency Program in Montgomery, Alabama in 1993. Dr. Rodriguez earned his medical degree from the Technological University of Santo Domingo, INTEC, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, graduating magna cum laude in 1985. His academic appointments include volunteer assistant clinical professor of medicine and clinical skills preceptor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida, and Nova Southeastern University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has been distinguished with the Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine 2001, Who’s Who Among American Physicians Award 2005, and the AMA Physician Recognition Award 2006. Dr. Rodriguez mentions serving God, his family, his patients, medicine (practice, teaching, learning, and history), and America as his passions.
