Isabel Souffront, M.D., M.P.H., is board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Souffront is the Managing Partner of Conviva Physician Group for Broward County.
She is a strategic thinker and visionary, a proactive leader who develops, mentors, and leads
clinical staff. Her strong clinical background, coupled with a collaborative management style, has
inspired extraordinary results by engaging associates, valuing diversity, and shaping culture to
support a high-performance environment. Dr. Souffront’s extensive credentials span clinical and
administrative management positions in multi-practice settings, outpatient centers, rehabilitation
units, ambulatory settings, and as a clinical professor. She served as the Regional Medical Director of
Metcare, later Humana, in Boca Raton, Florida, for nearly a decade. Dr. Souffront completed a family
medicine residency at Montefiore Hospital Family Health Center in New York City, June 1998 and
distinguished herself as Chief Resident. During her residency, she gained valuable clinical experience
in treating patients in a disadvantaged urban setting. She provided medical treatment for AIDS, teen
pregnancies, OB/GYN patients, pediatric patients including cases involving well babies as well as
abused children, victims of family violence, mentally ill patients, and geriatric populations.
Dr. Souffront earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, May 1994.
She obtained a Master of Science in Healthcare Management and Administration from Columbia
University Mailman School of Public Health in New York, NY, October 2005. She received a Bachelor of
Science in Biomedical Studies from City College of New York in New York City, May 1990. Dr. Souffront’s
professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, AMA, the National Association of
Health Services Executives, NAHSE, and the New York Association of Healthcare Quality, NYAHQ.
