Jorge C. Perez, M.D., is board-certified through the American
Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Perez is the Conviva Physician
Group Managing Partner for Miami-Dade.
He performed a fellowship in rheumatology at Mount Sinai
Hospital in New York, New York, from 1989 to 1991, and he
completed an internship and residency in internal medicine
at Episcopal Hospital Affiliated with Temple University in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1988 to 1989. Dr. Perez earned
his medical degree from the Autonomous University of
Juarez in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, from 1980 to 1984. As an
undergraduate, he majored in Biology at Iona College
Biology in New Rochelle, New York, 1978 to 1979, after
obtaining an Associate in Applied Science from Westchester
Community College in Valhalla, New York, 1975 to 1978.
Dr. Perez received Education Commission for Foreign
Medical Graduates, ECFMG, certification in February 1984.
