Claudia P. Santamaria, M.S.N., FNP-BC, is a board-certified advanced registered nurse practitioner, ARNP. She holds certifications from the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ACLS, and Basic Life Support, BLS, and Stroke Certification from the National Institutes of Health. At Conviva South Stuart, she provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a commitment to medical excellence. Her nursing experience spans clinic and hospital settings, including orthopedics, neurology, telemetry, bariatric, and medical-surgical units. Ms. Santamaria earned a Master’s degree, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, graduating with Honors from Nova Southeastern University in West Palm Beach, Florida. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, Dean’s List 2009 and 2010. She pursued studies at Palm Beach Community College, President’s List 2008, and received an Associate in Business Administration from the Polytechnical University in Bogota, Colombia. Ms. Santamaria’s honors include The Daisy Award, June 2017 and the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. She was the 2009 Nursing Students Association Historian at Nova Southeastern University in 2009, and has volunteered in the YMCA Breast Cancer Awareness and Self-screening Education and Hypertension Education and Screening, Fall 2010, and Nova Southeastern University Seasonal Influenza Education and Immunization programs, 2009 and 2010. Ms. Santamaria is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a past member of the National Student Nurses Association. She is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and values developing a rapport with patients, families, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
