Jennifer Mertiff, APRN, is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board. She holds a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, and Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification. Ms. Mertiff completed a residency at UF Health Family Practice in Yulee, Florida. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois, with an accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and Higher Learning Commission. As an undergraduate, she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, Georgia. Ms. Mertiff is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (since 2018), the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a recipient of the Dr. Mary E. Walker Award presented to as an outstanding military spouse for demonstrating dedicated and exemplary volunteerism, that improved the quality of life for soldiers and their families.
