Marcos Junges, MSN, APRN, is a highly skilled and experienced advanced registered nurse practitioner. At Conviva Care Center place, he provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a dedication to medical excellence. Mr. Junges earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami School of Nursing in Coral Gables, Florida, August 1993 to May 1995, with a GPA of 3.75 and inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. As an undergraduate, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Federal University of Parana in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil, August 1982 to July 1986. He is Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified ACLS — Current. Mr. Junges has served as a presenter and guest speaker at professional conferences offering talks such as Fluid Electrolyte Management of the Bone Marrow, IV International Meeting on Bone Marrow Transplant and Malignant Hemopathies, Curitiba, Brazil, International Guest Speaker, July 2003; Care of the Terminally III Cancer Patient, II International Meeting on Bone Marrow Transplant and Malignant Hemopathies, Curitiba, Brazil, International Guest Speaker, July 1998; Topics on Oncology Nursing, Hospital Sirio-Libanes, Sao Paulo, Brazil, International Guest Speaker, May 1997; Hematology, Brazilian Oncology Society, International Guest Speaker, October 1995; Nursing Management of Oncology Patients, Certification Program, Pan-American Hospital, Miami, Florida, 1993; and Management of Peripheral and Central Venous Access Devices, Certification Program, Mercy Hospital, Miami, Florida, 1991. Mr. Junges belongs to the medical staff of four hospitals in the Miami area and is the only non-physician member of the Credentials Committee at Palmetto General Hospital, Hialeah, Florida. Mr. Junges is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, February 2011, to the present. He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Haitian Creole and proficient in Word, Excel, and HBO (health information program).
