Ramiro M. Morlote, MSN, APRN-BC, CVNP-BC, received board-certification as a clinical cardiac nurse practitioner in September 2017, as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in September 2012, as a registered nurse in September 2009, and as a house physician in September 2007. At Conviva West Kendall Drive, he provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a dedication to medical excellence. In the decades before he relocated to the United States, Dr. Morlote was a cardiologist and medical director in Cuba and the Dominican Republic. He performed a cardiology fellowship at the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Villa Clara, Cuba, from May 1986 to August 1989. Dr. Morlote earned a medical degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Villa Clara, Cuba, from May 1977 to August 1983. He obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, Florida International University, Miami, Florida, in June 2012. As an undergraduate, he received an Associate Degree in Nursing at the University of the Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in August 2008. With expertise in managing patients with congestive heart failure and multiple comorbidities, Dr. Morlote seeks to improve the quality of life of senior cardiac patients.
