Dr. Caroline Lopez-Diaz is a board-certified internal medicine specialist. She speaks English and Spanish and has been a healthcare professional since 2014. Dr. Lopez Diaz completed an internal medicine residency at the Ramon Ruiz Arnau University Hospital in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, in 2019. She served an internship at the Academy of Medical Directors in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 2010, focused on primary care under the guidance of general practitioners. She earned her medical degree from the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. As an undergraduate, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in General Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. Dr. Lopez Diaz was the Medical Director of The Retreat of Broward, a specialized addiction treatment center that provides a medical detoxification process designed to minimize discomfort and protect the patient from any medical risks inherent in substance withdrawal. She is a member of the American College of Physicians. Her interests include wellness, contemporary art, travel, yoga, and outdoor activities.
