Dr. German Camacho practices general medicine as a primary care physician. Dr. Camacho completed a transitional residency at Interamerican Hospital of Advanced Medicine (HIMA) in Caguas, PR, following a medical internship. He earned his medical degree from Central Eastern University in the Dominican Republic after undergraduate studies at California State University and Long Beach City College. Dr. Camacho served eight years in the United States Navy Reserve, including deployment during the Gulf War, recognized with the National Defense Service Medal and a Letter of Commendation. His career has included primary care roles with Andrellica, physician on-call at Northeast Florida State, senior physician in primary care with Florida State Hospital and Union Correctional Institution, and medical officer physician for the Baghdad Embassy Security Force Project in Iraq. Dr. Camacho chose medicine to help people and serve the community. With an affinity for older adults, he focuses on caregiving, nutrition, and diabetes and believes in listening to help improve patients' health and quality of life. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, gathering with family, and listening to music.
