Dr. Henrique Levcovitz joined Conviva as a fellowship trained primary care physician. Dr. Levcovitz completed a clinical fellowship in genetics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree With Honors from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro School of Medicine in 1979 and his bachelor's degree With Honors from the British College of Brazil. His research has been published in medical journals such as Metabolism and Immunology. His accolades include being voted Texas Monthly Super Doctor and being awarded Excellence in Teaching Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Before joining Conviva in 2023, Dr. Levcovitz saw patients with HCA Care Now Urgent Care and with Cano Health. He has dedicated himself to addressing the medical needs of older adult patients. Earlier, he worked in ambulatory care, followed by becoming a Federal Doctor of the Brazilian government. Dr. Levcovitz believes in proactive disease prevention, echoing Conviva's approach to care. Dr. Levcovitz chose medicine to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. He is married and has two children. His interests include playing chess, reading, and gardening.
