Dr. Janessy Vasquez joined Conviva as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Vasquez completed family medicine residencies in Chicago, Illinois, at Jackson Park Hospital, where she was honorary co-chief, and West Suburban Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. Her accolades included the Provost's Honor Roll and the Dean's List, and she served as a neuroscience research laboratory technician with The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Dr. Vasquez has presented research, including A Review of the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Women Who Experienced Stress During Pregnancy, at the 9th annual IAFP Resident Scholarly Works Virtual Summit and Extensive Type A, Aortic Dissection in Patient with Prosthetic Aortic Valve, at the 13th Annual American College of Physicians Medical Students Steps to Success Meeting, Baltimore. Dr. Vasquez is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing, dancing, and traveling.
