Marc A. Ibáñez, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with extensive experience in hospital medicine, skilled nursing care, and hospice leadership. He earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital. Throughout his career, Dr. Ibáñez has served as CEO and Chief Physician for Essential Occupational Health and Safety, led hospitalist programs, and held multiple medical directorships for hospice and long-term care facilities. His approach focuses on treating the whole person, not just the disease, and empowering patients through education and compassionate care. With a strong background in palliative care and chronic disease management, he is passionate about improving quality of life for seniors. Outside of work, Dr. Ibáñez enjoys cooking, performing music, and spending time outdoors.
