Miranda Chandler, PA-C, is board-certified through the Florida Board of Medicine and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, NCCPA. She holds Bioidentical Hormone Pellet Insertion Certification. At Conviva Lake Okeechobee, she provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a commitment to medical excellence. Ms. Chandler obtained a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson-Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia, in 2007. She attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, for her undergraduate degree, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in 2004. Her academic appointments have included Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, and Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee, serving as a preceptor for physician assistant students. She is affiliated with Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida. Ms. Chandler practiced as a physician assistant at Gateway Medical Group in Okeechobee, Florida, from 2007 until joining Conviva in 2022. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, AAPA, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, FAPA, the National Academy of Dermatology for Nurse Practitioners, and the Palm Beach Accountable Care Organization. Her areas of specific interest include but are not limited to diabetic management in all areasoral, insulin, injectables, and insulin pumps- women’s health, annual pap examinations, and hormone replacement. She takes pride in maintaining personalized care for a wide variety of patients with diverse needs and backgrounds, specializing in chronic disease management, acute episodic care, and medication management. In her free time, Ms. Chandler enjoys spending quality time with her family and out in nature.
