Mirlene Chery, FNP-C, APRN, MSN, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing, With Honors, her Master's in Education, and her BSN from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Chery is a member of Black Nurse Practitioners of Palm Beach County. Before joining Conviva in 2023, Ms. Chery worked as a family nurse practitioner with ProMedica and NHP Primary Care. Previously, she was an RN with Jupiter Medical Center, Wellington Regional Hospital, Delray Medical Center, and HCR ManorCare. “Older adults are like living history books,” she has remarked. “My passion for senior care grows with each story and connects me to the impact of my role in keeping these stories and the wonderful people who tell them healthy and happy,” she continued. With a particular interest in addressing caregiving, diabetes, and exercise, Ms. Chery believes in actively listening to her patients to provide them with the best health plan, a philosophy that reflects Conviva's patient-centered approach to care. Ms. Chery chose her profession out of a deep-rooted desire to help others and serve her community. During her leisure time, she enjoys traveling and listening to music.
