Monica Tarrant, APRN, a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in 2015, her BSN from Western Governor's University in 2012, and an AAS in Nursing from Hostos Community College in 1996. Before joining our center in 2024, Ms. Tarrant served as a nurse practitioner at Wellpath and previously at YHA/Signify Health, United Healthcare, Optum, and Accountable Care Hospitalist Group. Earlier, she was an RN in medical-oncological, interventional radiology, and emergency room settings such as the West Palm Beach VA Hospital. Ms. Tarrant is committed to older adults and their healthcare needs, fostering a culture of caring for all individuals. Her experience has cultivated empathy for seniors' challenges, reinforcing her belief in holistic care for positive outcomes. Notably, she has received a Clinical Excellence Award for superior performance. She is an active member of the Nurse Practitioner Council of West Palm Beach. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and making memories with her family.
