Vladimir Laroche, M.D.,?is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. As Medical Director of Conviva Care Center Linton Square, he leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Laroche completed an internal medicine residency at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and started a fellowship at Bellevue Hospital in New York City in 1994. He earned his medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico, and obtained his Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates certification. He completed a third academic cycle in Population and Development at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, with a scholarship from the UN and the Haiti Ministry of Health. He obtained a baccalaureate degree from the Collège St. Pierre in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, as an undergraduate. Dr. Laroche was the Medical Director of Amicus Medical Centers in Delray Beach, Florida, from 2021 until joining Conviva in 2022. His clinical experience includes the Ministry of Public Health and Population and as an attending physician at the Sanitarium Hospital of Respiratory Diseases in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. He has served as an attending physician with IPC (post-acute care hospitalist), Coler-Goldwater Memorial Hospital, the Health and Hospital Corporation Correction Services, Woodhull Hospital and Ambulatory Care Department, and Montefiore-Rikers Island. He also was an attending physician with Plaza Medical Centers in South Florida and Found Care in Palm Springs, Florida. Dr. Laroche maintained a private medical practice in Mexico City, Mexico, from 1981 to 1986. He enjoys reading, chess, and music.
