Natalya Berezovskaya, M.D., is board-certified in echo cardiography, nuclear cardiography, and internal medicine (through the American Board of Internal Medicine). At Conviva Margate and PlantationSpecialists, she leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Berezovskaya performed a general cardiovascular disease fellowship at the NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island in Mineola, NY. She completed an internal medicine residency at New York University School of Medicine, New York, NY, and served an emergency medicine internship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY. She earned her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, New York, NY, in 2011. Dr. Berezovskaya served as a clinical instructor at NYU Long Island School of Medicine and Stony Brook University School of Medicine. Her research includes the Womens Heart Attack Research Program, NYU Winthrop Hospital; the factors affecting reduction in heart failure readmissions, Mount Sinai Beth Israel; and the safety of transfers from the intensive care unit to hospital floors. She has presented at the NYU Winthrop Hospital Cardiology Fellowship Morning Conferences on cardiomyopathies, the RNo EDUCE-IT Trial, atrial septal defects, echocardiography of tricuspid valve disease, stress cardiomyopathy, non-ischemic indications for stress echocardiography, infiltrative CM, and lipid management, and the prevention of medication error and importance of medication reconciliation in the ambulatory care setting, Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Berezovskaya has been appointed to the Cardiology Workgroup for Rapid Evaluation and Treatment Unit and the Venous Thromboembolism Prevention Committee of Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and she co-founded the NYU Internal Medicine Wellness Group.
