Adolfo G. Medina, M.D., specializes in internal medicine. Dr. Medina completed an internal medicine residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, from July 2016 to June 2019. He was selected as chief resident and served as a resident procedure supervisor, medical student proctor, and on the Sepsis, Code Blue, IT, Medication Reconciliation, and Critical Care Committees. He served as co-investigator in a comprehensive disease management program to improve the quality-of-life disparity in Hispanic patients admitted with an exacerbation of chronic pulmonary disease in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Medina earned his medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce, Puerto Rico, in June 2016. He received a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, in June 2010. Dr. Medina was the Assistant Medical Director of the Brooklyn Health Center of the Hotel Trades Council & Hotel Association of New York City from July 2019 to May 2021. He enjoys sailing as well as classical and bass guitar.
