Dr. Alejandro Lazaro Martínez, M.D., a board-certified family medicine specialist, earned his medical degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana in Havana, Cuba. He earned his bachelor's degree at the Pre-University Institute of Rene O Reine in Havana, Cuba. Before joining Conviva in 2024, Dr. Martínez worked as part of the EliteHealth care team in Sarasota, Florida, starting in 2021. Earlier, he worked as a Senior Attending Physician at First Harbour Medical Center, providing care to the adult and geriatric populations of Sarasota. In addition, he has been recognized by the Miami Health Department for his work serving low-income populations and community screening for breast cancer through the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. His volunteer work also includes volunteering at the Camile House in Miami, Florida, as well as the YMCA of Greater Miami in Miami, Florida. In his spare time, Dr. Martnez enjoys reading, music, and traveling with his family.
