Dr. Alexa Leigh Constantakos, DO, specializes in Internal Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and completed her residency training at AdventHealth Orlando. During her residency, Dr. Constantakos provided comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care and participated in numerous research and quality improvement initiatives, including studies on sleep apnea screening and rare disease presentations. Her earlier experience includes roles as a medical scribe and research intern, where she developed strong clinical documentation and investigative skills. She has presented at multiple national conferences and contributed to peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Constantakos has demonstrated leadership through teaching engagements and active involvement in professional organizations such as the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. Outside of medicine, she enjoys skiing, yoga, scuba diving, and traveling.
