Dr. Alexander Lopez-Alvar joined Conviva as a board-certified internal medicine specialist. At Conviva, he leads a team of compassionate professionals who provide patient-focused care with a dedication to medical excellence. Dr. Lopez-Alvar completed his residency in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, from 1991 to 1994. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida, in 1991. As an undergraduate, he received his Bachelor of Arts/Science from the University of Miami in 1982. Dr. Lopez-Alvar is affiliated with Baptist Hospital of Miami, Jackson South Hospital, the American Board of Hospital Physicians, and Conviva Physicians Group in Miami, Florida. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, boating, and cycling, and he is active with the Special Olympics.
