Dr. Alexis Peña, MD, specializes in family medicine with a strong focus on adult and geriatric care. She earned her Medical Doctor degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the UCF/HCA GME Consortium in Gainesville, Florida, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Peña brings a well-rounded background in clinical care, leadership, and community service. Her experience includes sideline coverage as a team physician, organizing wellness initiatives, and mentoring new residents. She has also contributed to medical outreach through the Salybia Mission Project and has presented on a variety of clinical topics during academic sessions. Dr. Peña is passionate about preventive care and patient education. Outside of medicine, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family and dog.
