Dr. Ali Awan, MD, specializes in family medicine. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies, and completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. Dr. Awan has served as a Family Medicine Resident Physician at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, New Jersey, where he was recognized with the Patient Service Award for his compassionate care. He has also contributed to medical education as a Simulation Teaching Assistant at Ross University, mentoring third- and fourth-year medical students in clinical skills and patient communication. Dr. Awan has held leadership roles on the Hospital Utilization Management Committee, focusing on optimizing patient care and resource use. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cooking, going to the movies, traveling and enjoying the outdoors.
