Ms. Alma Denise Stacy, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in adult and geriatric primary care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Throughout her career, Ms. Stacy provided comprehensive primary care in clinic, home-based, hospice, and community settings, caring for adults and older adults with complex medical needs. Her experience included managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, obesity, COPD, and kidney disease, coordinating care across healthcare settings, and supporting patients through hospice and end-of-life care. She also served in leadership roles as Director of Nursing and Director of Quality & Compliance, overseeing clinical operations, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives. Ms. Stacy became a nurse practitioner because she believes healthcare is about caring for people, not just medical conditions. She believes listening first helps patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healthcare decisions. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family, and listening to audiobooks.
