Dr. Amarilis Gonzalez is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Gonzalez completed an internal medicine residency at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center, an affiliate of Rush-Presbyterian St-Luke's Medical Center, in Oak Park, Illinois. She also completed a residency at the I.S.S.T.E. in Chihuahua, Mexico. She served an internship and sub-internship at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center in Oak Park, Illinois. She earned her medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. Her research includes Community Study on the Socio-economic and Health status, in Praxedis G. Guerrero, population: 2,561, Chihuahua, Mexico. Dr. Gonzalez was the president of Quantum Care, Inc., in Coral Gables, Florida, from 2003 to 2016, joining as the medical director in 2002.
