Angel A. Cervantes, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned his Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner With Distinction from Chamberlain College of Nursing. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington with a 4.0 GPA, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology cum laude from Texas A&M University, and an ASN from San Antonio College of Nursing. Mr. Cervantes has co-authored research published in medical journals, including Society for Neuroscience Abstracts. He is passionate about diabetes, heart health, and preventative medicine. Before joining Conviva in 2023, Mr. Cervantes was a family nurse practitioner with Cano Health, specializing in the department of physiotherapy, evaluating patients with arthritis and chronic pain. His work as a staff RN and charge nurse in critical care and radiology at Methodist Hospital and his previous role as a licensed paramedic uniquely equip him to offer holistic care to seniors, supporting Conviva's compassionate values. Mr. Cervantes chose healthcare to help others and serve the community. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, family activities, and travel.
