Angelica Doloroso, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, a doctorally prepared, board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice with honors from South University in 2019. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2006 and her BSN from Ateneo de Zamboanga University in the Philippines in 1988. A Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing inductee, Ms. Doloroso has served as a preceptor for nurse practitioners and DNP students at the University of North Florida, South University, Jacksonville University, and Chamberlain University. Before joining us in 2024, she was an FNP with Walmart Health-Florida and previously at Baptist Health-Florida, specializing in geriatrics. She also has extensive experience in retail healthcare settings with Walgreens and Cantrell Medical Clinic. Her work with older adults has shaped her patient-centered philosophy, emphasizing empowerment through education and proactive health management. Outside of her work, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and volunteering.
