The first afternoon that I called asking for help with getting Tamaflu because I just found out my husband had influenza A and I also had gotten sick and it was obvious that I also had influenza A. I called as soon as he got back from the doctor and got tested which was like 1:30 in the afternoon. The office assured me that someone would call me back. I called back three times and nobody ever responded to me. I did at my last phone call get an appointment for a telehealth visit with Andra the next day and she did finally call in Tamaflu for me but really encouraged me to come in which I couldn't do at the time. I'm feeling better so all as well that ends well but it was very disturbing that hour after hour nobody got back to me when I was promised that somebody would ?

The provider told me there was nothing I could do to stop the progression of my kidney condition. But I researched it and diet and controlling my diabetes can affect it a lot. While I was eating a good diabetes diet it is not good for my kidneys. I was eating too much protein. This is hard to balance because to control diabetes I need to eat less carbs and more protein, and with kidney disease I need to eat less protein. I am trying to do this, and will see how it effects my AIC.
