Dr. Badar Saeed Salmin Sabeen, an internal medicine specialist, performed geriatric medicine and addiction medicine fellowships at Larkin Community Hospital after an ICU externship at Advocate Trinity Hospital. Dr. Sabeen holds a Master of Public Health from Benedictine University and completed an echocardiogram program at South Suburban College. He earned his medical degree from the University of Tripoli Faculty of Medicine in 2001. Dr. Sabeen serves as an associate professor of addiction and geriatric medicine at Larkin Community Hospital and previously was an adjunct faculty instructor at South Suburban College. He has co-authored research published in Cureus and the American Journal of Case Reports. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Sabeen provided primary care with Life Is Beautiful MD in Pembroke Pines, Florida, following numerous medical and research positions in the U.S. and abroad. He believes taking the time to listen can enhance his patients' health and quality of life. Dr. Sabeen chose medicine to help others and serve the community. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, reading books, and spending time with his family.
