Belkis Aleman, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner. Ms. Aleman holds certifications in American Heart Association advanced cardiovascular life support, ACLS, and basic life support, BLS. Ms. Aleman earned her Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia, in 2018. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from 2013 to 2015. She studied medicine and obtained her medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences in Santa Clara, Cuba, in 1993 and practiced as a physician at the Cajamarquilla Medical Center in Lima, Peru. Ms. Aleman served as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner at American Care Medical Center in Tampa, Florida, from 2019 until joining Conviva in 2022. Her experience in hospital settings as a registered nurse, RN, and relief charge nurse includes Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida. In her free time, she loves to explore new places with her family and friends and enjoys the great outdoors, reading, and baseball.
