Dr. Chisara Adonai, a board-certified in family medicine specialist with American Board of Preventative Medicine certification in addiction medicine, completed her family medicine residency at New York Medical College at St. Joseph Medical Center in Yonkers, New York. She earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky. She received her Bachelor of Science from Mount St. Vincent College. Dr. Adonai practiced addiction medicine with St. Mary's Healthcare in Amsterdam, NY, and was medical director of Behavioral Health Services at the Whitney M. Young, Jr. Health Center in Albany, NY. She also practiced with the Center for Family Medicine in Troy, NY, and was an attending physician with the Albany County Department of Residential Health Care Facilities. Dr. Adonai's professional affiliations include the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, exercising, and reading.
