Crystal M. Carbajal, APRN, joined our center as an advanced practice registered nurse. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Ms. Carbajal earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas, in 2013. As an undergraduate, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2007. Before joining Conviva, her previous nursing experience included working in cardiac and medical intensive care for seven years. Ms. Carbajal's specialties include geriatric care, preventive medicine, diabetes management, managing chronic conditions such as liver and kidney disease, cardiology, and pulmonology. Ms. Carbajal is fluent in English and Spanish. She loves developing good relationships with her patients so she can best help them manage their health. When she is not working, she enjoys being outdoors, running, swimming, and cycling. Ms. Carbajal is a proud wife and mother of a beautiful daughter and two fur babies.
