Daimis Vazquez Rosabal, M.D., practices general medicine. At Conviva Eighth Street, she leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused health care professionals with a dedication to medical excellence. Dr. Vazquez Rosabal completed a family medicine residency at Calixto Garcia Hospital in Havana, Cuba, from 1999 to 2002. She performed a rotating internship at San Gerardo Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from 2013 to 2014. She earned her medical degree from the University of Havana in Havana, Cuba, 1998 and obtained a Family Medicine Specialty Diploma from the University of Havana in Havana, Cuba, 2002. Dr. Vazquez Rosabal has presented research at medical symposia including “Duodenal Ulcer Incidence at the Enrique Cabrera Hospital” in Havana, Cuba, May 1997. She authored a clinical article, “Breast Diseases Incidence in a Community,” published by the Policlinic Dr. Tomas Romay in Havana, Cuba, 2002. Dr. Vazquez Rosabal has practiced medicine in Cuba, in Puerto Rico – where she served as an emergency room general physician at Perea Hospital and San Antonio Hospital in the city of Mayagüez, - in Venezuela, and the United States. She served as an emergency room general physician at Perea Hospital and San Antonio Hospital in the city of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Dr. Vazquez Rosabal enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
