Dr. Daneel Correa, MD, specializes in Internal Medicine. He earned his Medical Doctor degree from Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas in Havana, Cuba. Dr. Correa completed his Internal Medicine residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York, affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he provided both inpatient and outpatient care and gained experience in CCU and ICU management. He served as a primary care physician at Interamerican Medical Center, Peñate Medical Center, Leon Medical Center, and Welmax Medical Centers, and worked as a hospitalist at Baptist Hospital of Miami. His earlier roles include medical research coordinator positions at Aurora Research Institute and Miami Institute for Medical Research, and general physician service at Carlos J. Finlay Hospital in Cuba. Dr. Correa has contributed to multiple research publications on topics ranging from colon cancer to drug interactions.
