Dr. Daniela G. Fawcett, M.D., is an internal medicine physician with a strong foundation in chronic disease management and a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Libre Seccional Barranquilla in Colombia and completed her residency training at Saint Mary's Hospital (Yale-affiliated) and Aventura Hospital (Nova Southeastern University-affiliated). Dr. Fawcett has gained extensive U.S. clinical experience through externships in family medicine, cardiology, rheumatology, and infectious disease. She has led quality improvement projects focused on continuous glucose monitoring and osteoporosis screening, and has contributed to research in endocrinology, traumatic brain injury, and artificial intelligence in medical education. Outside of work, she enjoys doing volunteer work, exercising the outdoors, spending time with family and traveling.
