Dr. Dean A. Newton joined Conviva as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Newton completed his family medicine residency at UMDNJ-JFK Hospital in Stratford, NJ, in 1992 after serving an internship at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA, in 1989. He obtained his B.A. from Rutgers University in Camden, NJ. Dr. Newton's hospital affiliations include Jefferson Health-Stratford in Cherry Hill and Washington Township. Before joining Conviva in 2022, he saw patients with Amicus Medical Center. His clinical experience includes the Walk-In Family Medicine Center in Boynton Beach and M.D. Now Urgent Care Center in West Palm Beach, FL. He was the medical director of his private practice, Dean A. Newton, D.O., PA1, in Camden, NJ, for ten years and earlier practiced with Caps Medical Management in Deerfield Beach, FL. From 1992 to 2003, he was partner-owner of Primary Medical Practices in Somerdale and Collingswood, NJ. Dr. Newton is a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
