Deepa Nuthalapati, MD, specializes in family medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University at Albany, the State University of New York, and her Doctor of Medicine degree from International American University College of Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency at HCA Summerville Medical Center and Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Nuthalapati is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Nuthalapati cared for patients across all stages of life, including older adults, providing preventive care, chronic disease management, and health education. She also served as a medical educator and mentor, teaching medical students and tutoring physician trainees preparing for licensing examinations. Her contributions included nationally recognized research presentations, peer-reviewed publications, and a first-place faculty award for a quality improvement project focused on transitional care management. Dr. Nuthalapati believes that helping patients make healthier choices every day improves well-being and longevity. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and playing golf.
