Delvis Secin Santana, MD, specializes in family medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medical Sciences Zoilo Marinello Vidaurreta in Cuba, graduating with a Gold Diploma and honors distinction. Dr. Secin Santana completed a Family Medicine residency at Mayagüez Medical Center and provided care in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, and family practice settings. His experience included caring for adults and older adults, managing chronic conditions, delivering preventive care, and building strong relationships with patients and families. He also contributed to research and publications focused on vaccination and behavioral health. Dr. Secin Santana believes that taking the time to listen to patients is key to improving their quality of life and health. He entered healthcare to make a difference by helping people put their health first and is especially passionate about heart health, diabetes, and obesity prevention. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
