Dr. Do Hwang is board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Hwang completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toledo, St. Luke's Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. During her residency, she was elected Chief Resident. She was a member of the Narcotics Committee, the Curriculum Committee, and the Patient Education Committee, and she served on the Infectious Disease Control Committee of St. Luke's Hospital. Dr. Hwang earned her medical degree from St. Matthews University, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, BWI. She obtained a Master of Science, in Microbiology and Immunology from Kon-Kuk University Graduate School, Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Hwang, a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians, and the Florida Medical Association. She was honored with a Sang-Huh Scholarship, a full tuition merit scholarship in 1997, and a Resident Teacher Award by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine in June 2010.
