Dr. Elisse Kavensky is a board-certified physician specialized in Palliative Medicine, Geriatrics, and Internal Medicine. Due to her work at the Miami VA Medical Center and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at University of Miami, she is exceptionally well-trained to work with veterans and cancer patients. While completing her fellowship, she also participated in the Leadership and Life Skills Course at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York. Prior to earning her medical doctorate at Rush Medical College, she graduated with Honors from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Anthropology and then earned her Master of Science in Medical Sciences at Boston University. She also studied public health policy at Sciences Po in Paris, France. Dr. Kavensky evaluates her patients holistically to provide personalized care and maximize their quality of life. She partners with her patients to provide high-value care and engages them to make healthier choices and lead more fulfilling lives. Outside of her work, she cherishes quality time with her family and traveling.
