Dr. Elizabeth de la Nuez, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Facultad de Ciencias Médicas Juan Guiteras Gener in Matanzas, Cuba, and completed her Family Medicine residency at Hospital Bella Vista in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Guided by her philosophy that listening to patients is key to improving their quality of life, Dr. de la Nuez is passionate about heart health and brain health. She has practiced in diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and urgent care, with experience spanning preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and women's health. Her background includes leadership in quality improvement projects, teaching medical students, and conducting research on maternal health. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
