Dr. Elizabeth M. Fergusson Ramirez joined Conviva as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Fergusson Ramirez completed her family medicine residency at Hoboken University Medical Center's Neighborhood Health Center in 2019. She earned her medical degree summa cum laude from the University of Medical Sciences in Santiago, Cuba, and served on the Cuban International Medical Team in Pakistan, caring for earthquake victims, and Bolivia. She obtained an RN degree from the University of the Sacred Heart in Santurce, PR, in 2010. Before joining Conviva in 2022, Dr. Fergusson-Ramirez was a primary care physician at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ. Her passion for addressing critical conditions and promoting women's health aligns with her affinity for working with older adult patients. Earlier, she practiced as an RN in home healthcare settings. Dr. Fergusson-Ramirez believes in a patient-centered approach, emphasizing attentive listening and comprehensive care, echoing Conviva's values. Dr. Fergusson-Ramirez chose medicine to impact communities positively. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, music, walking, exploring museums, and watching movies.
