Elyse Hamilton, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, AANP. She also holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, ACLS, American Heart Association, and Basic Life Support, BLS. At Conviva Plant City, she provides compassionate, patientfocused primary care with a commitment to medical excellence. Ms. Hamilton earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida, from May 2017 to December 2019, and was awarded the CVS Foundation Scholarship. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University in Tampa, Florida, in June 2013, graduating magna cum laude and honored with the Overall Clinical Excellence Nursing Award. Ms. Hamilton’s practicum experience focused on the management and health maintenance of adult and pediatric patients in primary care and specialty settings while utilizing current clinical guidelines and recommendations. She completed 900 practicum hours in adult, older adult, women’s, pediatric, and specialty primary care, including infectious diseases and urgent care, in clinic and hospital settings. From 2013 to 2018, she held positions as charge nurse, team leader, staff nurse, and clinical coach preceptor. In October 2018, she volunteered with the Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps, Bradenton, Florida, to assess and treat underserved and uninsured patients with free medical care. Ms. Hamilton is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Florida Nurses Association. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and going to the beach.
