Elyse Hamilton, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Tampa in 2019, and was awarded the CVS Foundation Scholarship. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing magna cum laude from South University in Tampa, Florida, in 2013, honored with the Overall Clinical Excellence Nursing Award. Ms. Hamilton's practicum experience focused on the management and health maintenance of adult and pediatric patients in primary care and specialty settings. She completed 900 practicum hours including older adult, women's, and specialty primary care, encompassing infectious diseases and urgent care, in clinic and hospital settings. For five years, she held positions as charge nurse, team leader, staff nurse, and clinical coach preceptor. In 2018, she volunteered with the Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps, Bradenton, FL, to assess and treat underserved and uninsured patients with free medical care. Ms. Hamilton is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Florida Nurses Association. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and the beach.
