Ernesto Cuna, M.D., is a primary care physician at Conviva Care Palm Springs, where he leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a dedication to medical excellence. Dr. Cuna completed three years of nephrology residency at Saturnino Lora Hospital in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, from September 1991 to October 1993, and an internal medicine residency at Agostinho Neto Hospital in Guantanamo, Cuba, from September 1987 to July 1988. He served a medical rotatory internship at Auxilio Mutuo Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from July 2011 to October 2012. He earned his medical degree from the University Of Medical Sciences in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, from September 1981 to July 1987. Dr. Cuna is a member of the American Medical Association. He enjoys reading, playing basketball, and working out.
