Dr. Evan Jacobs is fellowship-trained and board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Jacobs performed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Ochsner Heart and Vascular after completing an internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/the University of Miami. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Jacobs is affiliated with Northwest Medical Center, Memorial Regional Hospital, and Westside Regional Medical Center. His distinctions include the American College of Cardiology Legislative Award, Humana's Century Award, Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institutes Fellow of the Year, Jackson Memorial Hospitals Ambulatory Resident of the Year, University of Miami Medical Scholar Program (7-year BS/MD program), and a University of Miami full academic scholarship. Dr. Jacobs has published 20 abstracts and manuscripts in peer-reviewed medical journals, and his research has been cited by more than 30 authors to date. He lives in Parkland, FL, with his wife and two children and is an avid tennis player.
