Dr. Evan Wayne Villemez, MD, is an internal medicine physician with a strong foundation in clinical care and research. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, after completing a Master of Science in Anatomy at Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors at Nicholls State University. Dr. Villemez trained as a resident physician in internal medicine at LSUHSC New Orleans, where he gained experience caring for diverse patient populations and presented research at national and regional conferences, including work on cardiomyopathy, hepatocellular carcinoma, and resident workflow improvement. He previously worked as an EMT-Basic and an Emergency Room Technician, further strengthening his emergency care background. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cooking, enjoying the outdoors, and listening to music.
