Dr. Farid Ahmed, a fellowship-trained, board-certified family medicine specialist, completed his fellowship in sleep medicine at the University of Texas in Houston following his family medicine residency at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He completed his internship in General Surgery and Pediatrics transplant surgery at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Ahmed earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College. His research has appeared in journals such as Blood by the American Society of Hematology and has been presented at conferences, including those of the American Cancer Society, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Ahmed was a primary care physician with Walmart Health in Jacksonville, FL, and held roles with Sleep EZ Family and Sleep Health LLC. His experience spans primary care, sleep medicine, geriatrics, and acute care, and director of sleep disorder center in Jacksonville. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family.
