Dr. Fidel Cintas is a board-certified family medicine specialist. At Conviva, he leads a team of compassionate, patient-centered primary professionals dedicated to medical excellence. Dr. Cintas completed residencies at the UMDNJ/NJMS Family Medicine Residency Program as a Family Medicine Specialist at Hoboken University Medical Center, Hoboken, New Jersey, and at the Frank Pais Teaching Hospital in Havana, Cuba, with a specialization in orthopedic surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medical Science in Havana, Cuba. Dr. Cintas is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the American Medical Association (AMA). He has published and presented research, including a poster presentation on metabolic syndrome at the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Annual Conference in Chicago, Illinois, and a case report/CME presentation on AIDS and Pancytopenia in Hoboken, New Jersey. His work has been published in the New York University Current Review of Pain Medicine. In his free time, Dr. Cintas enjoys golf, chess, and SCUBA diving.
