Dr. Florence Xiong, MD, is a family medicine physician with advanced training in geriatric medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Florida Atlantic University's Schmidt College of Medicine and completed her residency in family medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Miami. Dr. Xiong has experience caring for older adults with complex medical needs and has presented scholarly work on geriatric sleep interventions, chronic disease management, and post-acute care transitions. She has been recognized for her compassionate care through induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and has received leadership awards, including the American Academy of Family Practice Emerging Leader Institute Scholar. Outside of medicine, Dr. Xiong enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and traveling.
